Joe DECicco, Director of Operations
Our Director of Operations, Joe DeCicco, is a retired New York City detective with a wide variety of law enforcement and investigation expertise. As a law enforcement officer, Joe has successfully concluded investigations ranging from minor crimes, missing persons, fraud, kidnappings, and homicides—even shutting down a burglary ring that targeted a business site of a high-profile family that is currently in the national political spotlight. He had served half of his career in plainclothes, including several years in New York’s elite Narcotics Division.
With his law enforcement associations and membership in several organizations including NYPD Shield, an NYPD/Civilian counter-terrorism coalition, and NYPD Nexus, Joe helps our company to keep a finger on the pulse of up-to-the-minute conditions that affect our clients’ needs—from current traffic patterns to world activities.
Joe’s experience extends beyond law enforcement. He has extensive courtroom experience and is certified by the courts as an expert in his field. Joe has assisted attorneys with many precedent-setting cases. In his spare time, he authors a continuing series of novels based on his professional experiences.
John Celentano, CEO
Our CEO, John Celentano, is responsible for the daily hands-on operation of our organization. John served in the United States Armed Forces as an Airman in one of the Naval Air Corps most vital helicopter squadrons, HM-14. During his enlistment, he received multiple commendations for his dedication to our country’s national defense. Immediately following his honorable discharge from active duty, John entered the private security and investigation industry. He worked for many years as an investigator before taking the leap to become a managing partner of JDC Investigations & Security, Inc.
With an eye toward self as well as business development, John, like countless veterans before him, used his Montgomery GI Bill to enroll at the State University of New York. He graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice and Business Management. With close to 20 years of experience, John has developed a strong expertise in the security and investigative fields.
